Welcome to 2026 - a year of great change for our planet, and for ourselves if we so choose.
I like to think that everything that happens is for our higher good. Often, many of us pre-act before we truly absorb the essence of our experience. We see this played out in the news all the time. We often allow our ego and our emotions to rationalize behavior without first considering the intention behind the action.
As we move into the new year and beyond it will be ever more apparent that ‘pausing’ for a moment may be the key to averting future grief and heartache.
When I think of the ‘pause’ it reminds me of that moment in between ‘time’. It is like the Sun at midnight, the voided Moon or when a planet is at its final degree in any given sign.
I want to believe that the pause is the great ‘reset’, a time of holding still. Think of it as working diligently at your computer, and then suddenly it freezes up. The only solution is the reboot. It is in those long few moments of reconfiguration that has the potential to put us back on track. In this moment of ‘pause’, or rebooting in this case, we may feel helpless, agitated, without direction, where we might hope and pray that what was once will still be there when the processing is complete and we can move forward.
In the ‘pause’ is where we learn to let go and to trust.
Since October 2025 the planet Neptune has been in the final (29th) degree of Pisces. I equate this to the end of the road, the end of an era – the pause between the past, present and future. This is where we hold our breath (spirit) as we then exhale the known and inhale a magical rebirth into the unknown.
Neptune will enter 0 degrees Aries on January 26, 2026, at 12:37 pm ET. Between now and this date, we are at the heightened point of the ‘pause’. Think of this time as the clock about to strike the midnight hour – will you return to your old life, or will you run toward and embrace the unknown?
No one really knows what happened to Cinderella once the clock hit midnight. The point is to use our imagination and our resources to live out a real-life fantasy of what idyllic wonder we wish to create that will allow us to reignite the fire within and to begin anew.
Shed the past, and trust that you possess within you all that is needed.
Neptune will transit the sign of Aries from January 26, 2026 - May 22, 2038, a glorious time of renewed possibilities!
Look toward the sky and embrace your future.
